Promoting Gender Diversity - and the Bottom Line
Join the national conversation on gender diversity in US corporate boardrooms on December 12, 2012 in partnership with 2020 Women on Boards. See http://www.2020wob.com/
So join us, on 12/12/12, when we'll make our voices heard worldwide. If you want to help “Move the Needle” bring your smartphone, tablet and at noon we will pause the meeting so you will have the opportunity to post on Facebook, LinkedIn, Tweet or e-mail your comments on why Balanced Leadership is important to you.
Please invite your co-workers, boss/manager and other influential people in your business life - including our gentlemen friends. We want as many as possible to hear this message.
Our Speaker will be:
Annie M. Cull
Senior Manager, Sustainability Marketing
Annie Cull is responsible for leading Calvert’s marketing efforts to maintain and expand the organization’s presence as a leader in sustainable and responsible investment strategies. Ms. Cull is in her fourth year with Calvert in Washington, D.C and brings more than a decade of experience in the financial services industry. She promotes the concepts of sustainability with an emphasis on green investment strategies and gender diversity.
Calvert Investments was founded in 1976 on the belief that there is tremendous potential in looking at things from a different perspective. Their tradition of independent thinking, backed by a rigorous and disciplined investment process, has made them one of the nation’s most respected investment management firms.
SRI (Socially Responsible Investing) is catching on with many individual and institutional investors who seek to align their investment portfolio with their personal values by avoiding companies that do not meet certain standards.
Calvert seeks to invest in companies that have diverse and independent boards. This aligns with WEDC's Women on Board Initiative. She will discuss why balanced leadership is a major factor in the investment decision process.
